Daniel L. Shneidman is a solo practitioner with over 40 years of practice and concentrated experience in the fields of Labor and Employment Law and the Law and Ethics of Lawyering. He currently serves on the State Bar Board of Governors, the Milwaukee Bar Association Professionalism Committee, and is the Chair of the Milwaukee Bar Association Labor and Employment Law Section; is past Chair of the State Bar Professional Ethics Committee; is past Chair of the Special Joint State Bar BAPR Committee dealing with lawyer misappropriation of client funds and trust account matters. He was appointed by the Wisconsin Supreme Court as special counsel to the Board of Attorneys Professional Responsibility. Shneidman is past Chair of the State Bar and past Chair of the Milwaukee Bar Association Labor and Employment Law Section. He currently serves on the State Bar Office of Lawyer Regulation Committee. Shneidman is a frequent author and lecturer at the Milwaukee Bar, State Bar, and Marquette University Law Schools on professional ethics and responsibilities and employment and labor law, and is an Adjunct Professor of Law and Lecturer at Marquette University, teaching ethics and professional responsibility. Shneidman frequently serves as counsel and consultant to lawyers and law firms in professional responsibility matters (OLR) and as an expert witness. On numerous occasions, Attorney Shneidman has represented the State Bar before the Wisconsin Supreme Court on numerous ethical and lawyer-professional responsibility issues. Shneidman has recently been appointed Chair of a State Bar subcommittee dealing with the issues of solo and small firms and the Lawyer Regulation System.
